Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees.What You'll Be DoingPerform preventative maintenance and repairs on mobile equipment and machineryRepair and replace damaged/worn parts, lines and components.Troubleshoot mechanical issues to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiencyOperate hand and power tools safely and effectivelyOperate and inspect machines or heavy equipment to diagnose defects.Collaborate with team members to complete maintenance tasks and projectsMaintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inspectionsWhat Are We Looking ForDemonstrated mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skillsAbility to read and interpret technical manuals and schematicsCommitment to safety and adherence to company policiesFlexibility to work 10-12 hrs/day, including Saturdays and overtime as neededKnowledge/understanding of 12v/24v electrical systems.Strong communication and teamwork abilitiesMust be punctual and have reliable transportationWork EnvironmentThis position functions predominantly in the underground mine with room heights of 27' tall and involves working in a heavy industrial environment with exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
