Maintenance Mechanic

Maintenance MechanicNJ - Pennsauken TwpTo support the Maintenance Department by performing simple, routine assignments and offer assistance in complex situations.Ensure operation and assist to limit downtime of equipment by performing inspections, documenting issues, creating parts lists and work-orders, and performing tasks to address and eliminate noted issues.Diagnose and repair machine breakdowns in a timely, professional manner.Maintain a safe and clean work environment that meets the requirements of our Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).Generate parts requests for emergency repairs and inventory requirements.Modify equipment as needed to result in better efficiency and to minimize breakdowns.Perform machine set-up, change-over and adjustments as needed.Practice lock out/tag out safety procedures and utilize PPE.Documents work accurately, as required, to meet all policies and procedures.Facilities maintenance repairs as necessaryWork independently, as well as part of a team, to complete necessary work in order to support production.Assist on assigned projects as needed.Follow all safety rules and regulations.Perform other duties as directed.Performs other duties as assigned by Management.To perform this job successfully, the Maintenance Mechanic must be self-motivated, able to problem solve, detail-oriented, and able to stay on task.
