Assistant Superintendent
A growing commercial construction team is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support the successful delivery of large-scale commercial developments. This role is ideal for an emerging field leader who is ready to take on increased responsibility in fast-paced, high-profile construction projects.Project FocusLarge-scale commercial construction projectsGround-up and renovation developments across multiple sectorsOffice buildings, mixed-use developments, retail centers, healthcare facilities, hospitality, and industrial projectsProjects typically ranging from $40M–$200MComplex commercial construction with aggressive schedules and multiple trade coordinationKey ResponsibilitiesSupport the Superintendent in managing daily field operations across all phases of constructionCoordinate subcontractors, material deliveries, equipment, and site logisticsAssist with maintaining project schedules, safety compliance, and quality control standardsConduct daily site walks and track project progress, manpower, and field productivityHelp manage inspections, punch lists, turnover activities, and field documentationEnsure work is completed in accordance with plans, specifications, and company standardsAssist in resolving field conflicts and coordinating solutions with subcontractors, vendors, and project teamsMaintain strong communication with project management, architects, engineers, and ownership representativesPromote a safe, organized, and professional jobsite environmentQualifications2–5 years of commercial construction experienceExperience supporting large-scale ground-up or renovation commercial projects preferredExposure to office, retail, industrial, healthcare, hospitality, or mixed-use construction projectsStrong interest in field leadership and long-term superintendent career growthAbility to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and schedulesStrong communication and coordination skills with field teams and subcontractorsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on construction environmentCompensation & GrowthCompetitive salary based on experienceBonus eligibility, vehicle allowance, and field stipendsStrong opportunity for advancement into Superintendent rolesExposure to high-profile, complex commercial construction projectsOpportunity to work with an established and growing construction team on landmark developments
