Role DescriptionPosition SummaryThis position reports directly to the Engineering Capital Lead and will be responsible for the delivery of key site projects across various Engineering disciplines. The position will form part of the Capital Projects Engineering Group within the overall Engineering Department. The Senior Project Manager will also interact with the Large Capital Projects Team and will support governance and oversight for all projects delivered at Rathdrum site. It is envisaged that this role will directly support the Capital Engineering Lead in the integration of an Engineering Managed Services Delivery model for Project Delivery on siteThe role will involve a high level of accountability with responsibility for projects delivery at the Zoetis API Manufacturing site in Co Wicklow. This role will be responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered on schedule and within budget and in accordance with all Zoetis Safety and Quality standards.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIESKey objectives of this position include:Work with all stakeholders to deliver key projects in alignment with the Site CAPEX Plan for a specific year and the Strategic Site Master Plan (SMP) Support the integration and management of an Engineering Managed Services Project Delivery Model for the Rathdrum Site Interim Lead for the PTSB Engineering team in utilising the site change control system and procedures for new projects Update of Site Engineering records as part of project delivery. Support the delivery of Monthly Project Cost Reports Support key Site initiatives such as Asset Integrity, Reliability, Plant Baselining, Machinery Safety, Continuous Improvement and Sustainability Projects. Support the execution of Large Capital Projects on behalf of Zoetis system owners including design reviews, walkdowns, documentation review and approvals, system handover and acceptance, updating of site Engineering records. Support Root Cause Investigations and implementation of corrective actions. Compliance with regulatory and Company quality procedures. Compliance with Environmental, Health and Safety requirements. Ensuring all Zoetis Standards are maintained. Contribute to the overall performance of Zoetis and the achievement of the Company's strategic objectives.SYSTEM OWNER / SUBSYSTEM OWNER RESPONSIBILITIESSystem Owner (SO)System Owners have overall accountability for the site Quality Systems for which they are responsible and in particular for:Providing strategic & proactive direction with respect to the System (across the site) in terms of content and execution.Providing support, guidance & coaching to Sub System Owners (SSO).Ensuring that SSO regularly review sub-systems for their effectiveness, escalating issues where required to site Quality Council (QRC) for action & remediation.Owning relevant System issues in the site Compliance Plan.Defining resources as needed & communicating resource needs to Site Lead.Applying people change control across Sub-Systems within their responsibility.Ensuring that SSO have proactive continuous improvement plans for their Sub-Systems.Sub System Owner (SSO)Sub-System Owners have overall accountability for the site Quality Sub-Systems for which they are responsible and in particular for:Providing strategic & proactive direction with respect to their Sub-System (across the site) in terms of content and execution.Regularly reviewing their Sub-System & presenting Sub-System review to Quality Council (QRC) as required. Escalating issues where required to the System Owner (SO) and site QRC for action and remediation.Owning relevant Sub-System issues in the site Compliance Plan.Defining resources as needed & communicating resource needs to SO.Developing & implementing proactive continuous improvement plans for their sub-system.In partnership with the SO, ensuring that there are clearly defined expert(s) for each sub-system, acting as a point of contact during inspections.Overseeing all documents associated with their sub-system and providing input to the document owners during updates.Providing comments on new/revised draft policies and guidelines and completing impact assessments where required.ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPSDirectly reports to the Engineering Capital LeadBuilds Strong Working Relationship with the Managed Services Team Project LeadBuild strong working relationship with Capital Project Engineering Team and the wider Site Engineering TeamEstablish strong association with Site Operations, EHS & Quality Departments and External Regulatory & Compliance BodiesEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEPrimary Degree in Mechanical / Process / Chemical / Electrical EngineeringMinimum of 8 years significant Project Experience with knowledge and exposure to Process Plant, Utilities, Electrical, Maintenance & Facilities systems and ideally within a highly regulated GMP environmentUnderstanding of Project Life Cycle and adherence to stage gate process withinDevelopment of User Requirement Specifications and High-Level Scope documentationUnderstanding of effective Project Cost and Schedule Control toolsUnderstanding of GMP and the Quality standards required in the Pharmaceutical Manufacturing sectorUnderstanding and experience of working with construction regulations and Project Health & Safety requirementsTECHNICAL SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES REQUIREDQualified candidates for this important position will need to demonstrate the following critical competencies:Drives uncompromisingly for project success and knows the criticality of scope, cost and schedule adherence.
