Clinical services are rendered at all Jackson Hospital locations: Jackson Holtz Children Hospital, Jackson South, and Jackson North.Reporting Relationship:In this role the Assistant Professor reports directly to the Division Chief• Clinical duties will be as a Neonatal Attending in the Neonatal Services at all coveringlocations providing medical care for neonates in these units on a 24 hour 7 days per weekrotational schedule.• Provide antenatal consultation for high risk pregnancies• Care and stabilization of infants in the delivery room• Conduct daily rounds on patients in the different neonatal units• Administrative duties within the division and the Newborn Service• Teaching of residents, fellows and medical students• The position also requires development and participation in original research either clinicalor translational for which extramural funding should be sought.Requirements:Active Florida Medical LicenseBoard Certified in PediatricsNeonatal Board Eligible or Neonatal Experience PreferredBLSCurrent Employees:If you are a current Staff, Faculty or Temporary employee at the University of Miami, please click here to log in to Workday to use the internal application process.
