Lead Mechanic

Position – Lead Mechanic Wallcon is currently hiring a Lead Mechanic at its East Mesa Warner location. This position will support the Company fleet. Successful candidate will be well organized, have excellent communication skills and detailed oriented. Must be able to multi-task and prioritize duties. Schedule & Pay Swing Shift: 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM, plus overtime when needed Pay: $30–$35 per hour Overview of Duties Ability to troubleshoot, evaluate, and repair various trucks and equipment as needed to complete job Ability to troubleshoot hydraulic and electrical problems and complete repairs Be able to operate, test, and document the units to factory specifications Oversee repairs completed on trucks and equipment and perform quality control checks on completed repairs Assist team members with repairs and diagnostic procedures as needed Ensure employees complete and submit timesheets accurately and on time Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop Submit nightly reports to keep the day shift supervisor informed of daily operations and outstanding issues Ability to work as a team player with other people Ability to communicate both verbally and electronically Basic computer skills (MS Office) a must Experience/Requirements 5+ years prior experience on various construction trucks and equipment Understanding hydraulic and electrical schematics Clean driving record Excellent verbal and written skills Must have attention to detail and organizational skills Pro-active and self-motivated with ability to work with minimal supervision We offer a full Benefit package to our employees including: Group Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance Basic and Voluntary Life and AD&D Insurance, Critical Illness/Accident Coverage Company Paid Holidays, Vacation and Sick Time 401k with Company Match EOE/AA/M/F/D/V - Drug Free Environment Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Vision insurance Work Location: In person
