This is a great opportunity for someone seeking steady work, competitive pay, and long-term growth.Position overviewOperate heavy equipment on civil construction projects including site development, roadwork, and utility installationProjects located throughout Nebraska with consistent hours and overtime opportunitiesResponsibilitiesOperate excavators, dozers, loaders, graders, and rollersPerform rough and fine grading, trenching, and backfillingAssist with underground utility installation (water, sewer, storm)Read and interpret grade stakes, blueprints, and site plansComplete daily equipment inspections and basic maintenanceWork closely with field crews and supervisors to maintain schedulesFollow all safety guidelines and jobsite proceduresQualifications2+ years of experience operating heavy equipment in civil constructionExperience with sitework, excavation, or underground utilities preferredAbility to read grade stakes and work to elevationsStrong understanding of jobsite safety practicesWillingness to travel within Nebraska as neededValid driver's license; CDL is a plusCompensation and benefitsCompetitive hourly pay based on experienceOvertime opportunitiesPer diem or travel pay for out-of-town work when applicable
