POSTION: Digital DesignerREPORTING TO: Senior DesignerLOCATION: NYC MetroPOSITION SUMMARY:The Digital Designer is responsible for executing compelling, cohesive, on-brand creative assets across all digital channels, including email, SMS, paid media, site, and social. Reporting into the Senior Designer, this person should have strong design skills, mastery of digital best practices, and up-to-date knowledge of trends in the digital landscape. Working within the John Hardy Creative team, this person will help drive user engagement and optimize conversion through design.ROLE SCOPE & RESPONSIBILTIES:Collaborate cross-functionally with design and copy to translate briefs into compelling visual assets across all digital channelsCreate large volume of paid social assets for Meta and TikTokExecute campaign digital display banners for paid channelsOptimize, slice, deliver and QA digital assetsStay abreast of competitor creative and current trends in the digital spaceContribute to innovative thinking to advance John Hardy’s digital presenceUtilize business data and analytics to make informed creative decisions that support business growthDESIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:BFA in graphic design, digital media, advertising, or equivalent3-5 years experience in luxury, jewelry, fashion, and/or ecommerce spacesProficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and XD are a must)Strong sense of design with a clean and modern aestheticKnowledge of UX/UI bestSolid typography skillsMeticulous attention to detailExcellent organizational skillsProactive and self-startingClear and effective communication skillsAbility to collaborate and work well independentlyAbility to be flexible and responsive to shifting business needsEagerness to learnPassionate about design, jewelry, ecommerce, and digital trendsVideo editing and/or motion graphics skills a plus
