Projects will include the Launch Vehicle Stage Adapter (LVSA), and other launch/landing or research systems. The Thermal Engineer Analyst will work in cooperation with the Project Lead Engineers to provide analyses for space-flight vehicles, systems, and components. The Thermal Engineer Analyst will document results of analyses and publish reports and may support Working Groups at NASA MSFC.Job RequirementsBS Degree in an engineering/technical discipline is required5 yrs experience thermal systems analysisExperience required in performing thermal analysis for hardware in extreme environments.Excellent written and verbal communication skillsProficient with Microsoft Office products including Excel, Office, PowerPoint, and WordPreferred Capabilities/ExperienceComputational Fluid Dynamics experience to model fluid flow internal to a structure is a plusThermal Desktop or Sinda Fluent experience is a plus.Familiarity with NASA and spaceflight hardware a plusOther QualificationsUS Citizenship with ability to attain/maintain government security clearance.#TBETeledyne and all of our employees are committed to conducting business with the highest ethical standards.
