Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role based in Rhode Island, for a skilled Custom Cabinet Maker/Woodworker who would bring a sharp eye for detail and a solid foundation in the trade. Key ResponsibilitiesFabrication: Build custom cabinets, face frames, and furniture pieces based on shop drawings and cut lists.Tool Operation: Safely and proficiently operate table saws, jointers, planers, routers, shapers and various hand tools.Assembly: Manage glue-ups, sanding, and hardware installation (hinges, slides, pulls).Collaboration: Work closely with the lead builder on complex projects while maintaining the ability to manage individual tasks independently.Quality Control: Ensure every piece meets our standards for precision, squareness, and finish quality.QualificationsExperience: A general knowledge of woodworking joints, material types (hardwoods vs. sheet goods), and cabinet construction methods.Skill Set: Proven experience with professional-grade woodworking machinery and power tools.
