The global supply chain also includes cultured and wild species from a network of trusted sources worldwide.Follow Trident on the Web at www.tridentseafoods.com or on social media on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube or LinkedInSummary: The Seasonal Seafood Processor processes seafood products by performing the following duties:Key Responsibilities:Checks/verifies materials and amounts to be weighed, measured or counted and places items into the appropriate containers.Sets up, operates, and monitors machinery used in the production process, or assists machine operators.Records production data such as the ingredients used, temperature, weights and times according to Standard Operating Procedures.Fills hoppers of automated system with correct ingredients using vacuum assist for lifting bags.Disassembles and reassembles the production line and equipment as necessary for cleaning.Cleans and Sanitizes production equipment, tools, and work area per Standard Sanitation Operating Procedure (SSOP) while wearing required Persona Protective Equipment( PPE)Additional Responsibilities: Acquires knowledge of Trident’s Environmental and Safety Policies by completing required training programs and performing designated work activities in accordance with training and procedures/work instructions.Notifies designated personnel of any environmental or safety incidents or risks not previously documented, in accordance with Environmental Awareness and/or safety trainings.Minimum RequirementsMinimum Qualifications:Must have worked at Trident Seafoods Corporation as a seafood processor within the last 24 months.Preferred Qualifications: 6 months experience in food manufacturingHS Diploma or equivalentPhysical Demands:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.The employee is frequently required to climb or balance.The employee is occasionally required to climb ladders to elevated platforms, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.The employee moves objects.regularly up to 5 poundsoccasionally up to 40 pounds.
