If you're someone who takes pride in accuracy and enjoys being part of a team that delivers clean, consistent project execution, this role should be on your radar.Role Overview As a Project Engineer, you'll be responsible for producing accurate shop drawings, submittals, and related documentation for commercial door and hardware projects. You'll work closely with Project Managers, Estimators, suppliers, and manufacturers to ensure every project is detailed correctly and aligned with specs.This is a remote position with steady workflow, strong internal support, and clear expectations.Key ResponsibilitiesCreate detailed shop drawings, submittals, and related documents for multiple ongoing projectsReview architectural plans and specs to ensure accurate detailingCoordinate closely with Project Managers, Estimators, and internal teams to maintain alignmentUse industry software (Emullion preferred) to generate drawings and submittalsIdentify and resolve discrepancies in drawings or specsCommunicate with suppliers/manufacturers to ensure product accuracy in all documentsMaintain consistent communication with architects, clients, and internal stakeholdersMeet deadlines for submittals and project documentationStay current on industry standards, materials, and best practicesRequirementsMinimum 5 years of experience in commercial door & hardware detailingProficiency in Emullion or similar detailing software (preferred)Strong understanding of door and hardware products and industry standardsAbility to interpret architectural drawings and specificationsSolid technical skills (Microsoft Office, Adobe, etc.)Clear communicator who can collaborate well in a remote environmentHigh attention to detail and accuracyStrong problem-solving ability and the confidence to make informed decisionsAble to work independently with minimal oversightIf you have proven door and hardware detailing experience and want a remote role with a stable, reputable contractor, we'd love to connect.#J-18808-Ljbffr
