Job TypeFull-timeDescriptionOVERVIEWCadrex is searching for a Process Engineer II to evaluate new and existing processes and configure manufacturing systems to reduce costs, improve sustainability and develop best practices within the production process.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESPerform contract review and define NPI processDefines method of manufacturing and bills of materialManage large project timelines and resourcesIdentify, recommend, and implement approved methods or process improvementsIdentify CNC equipment, processes and tooling needed to achieve manufacturing goals according to product specificationsImproves manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layoutMaintain reliable and safe manufacturing systems while improving production rates, efficiencies, yields, costs, and changeoversDevelop innovative solutionsImprove process capability and production volume while maintaining and improving quality standardsDevelop and implement systems that optimize all phases of the production processAdvise on corrective actionsEnsure projects are completed on timePrepare product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trendsAssist in price quote development and job costing reviewsMaintain professional and technical knowledgeActively participate in LEAN manufacturing activitiesRequirementsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience in CNC Machining and Assembly in an Aerospace environmentPossess well-developed and demonstrated interpersonal, communication, and project management skillsAerospace industry knowledge in a manufacturing settingSelf-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervisionPC knowledge/computer literate; including the ability to work with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.), e-mail and use the internetWorking knowledge of LEAN principles or other continuous improvement skillsPossess excellent organizational skillsSkilled at workflow analysisMust have strong project planning and management skills to prioritize tasks and establish framework and systems for managing areas of responsibilityAbility to work in a multi-functional team environmentSkills in 2D and 3D CAD (SolidWorks and AutoCAD preferred)Knowledge of AS9100 is preferredEDUCATIONDegree in manufacturing engineering or related field.
