SummaryFIRST RF is seeking a highly organized and technically driven Project Manager to lead complex programs for both defense and commercial applications. In this role, you will oversee projects from concept through delivery, ensuring alignment with customer requirements, engineering milestones, security standards, and cost/schedule objectives. You will serve as the primary interface between internal stakeholders, suppliers, and customers driving program execution, mitigating risks, and ensuring critical solutions are delivered with excellence. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a result-oriented mindset, and a solid technical background.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as a project leader and drive consistent, organized processesFacilitate communication among production, engineering, quality, management, suppliers and customersCollaborate with all teams to ensure that project goals and deliverables meet FIRST RF quality standardsAssess, monitor, document, and communicate on project scope and status, risks and key learnings to project stakeholdersConstruct and control project plans and budgets that help teams drive key decision points Ensure all team members understand their roles and are held accountable for meeting commitmentsIdentify, track, manage, and resolve project issuesCapture and document project-related business, functional and creative information during the project lifecycleDrive change management processes, manage stakeholder expectations, communicate impact, and execute changes if applicableMaintain an in-depth understanding of the projects and related contractual, technical, and quality documentationQualificationsRequired Education and ExperienceMust have U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a U.S. Security ClearanceMust currently live in, or near, Boulder, Colorado or be willing to relocateBachelor's degree in an engineering disciplineRelevant experience in technical leadership or equivalent3-5 years of relevant work experienceAbility to identify, technical, cost, and schedule risks/opportunities and to engage technical support appropriatelyMust have U.S. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including creating and delivering presentationsA capacity to thrive in a self-motivated environment that has few boundaries and at-times conflicting prioritiesExcellent organizational and analytical skills and a detail-oriented problem-solving approachA desire to find, explore, and solve new and challenging problemsPreferred Education And ExperienceA proven capacity to contribute to multidisciplinary engineering projectsExperience in R&D and FAR/DFAR proposal activities and development to customer requirementsExperience with government contractsOther DutiesPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. Typical office hours include Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm, however these hours will vary based on workload and the manager’s discretion. This job may require more than 40 hours of work per week as the need arises.TravelNo travel is expected for this position.Physical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
