Travel RN - Leadership - Nurse Manager

American Traveler is hiring an RN Care Manager for a hospital-based role requiring a compact or ME RN license and significant experience in care management and discharge planning.Job Details• Work in a hospital setting with responsibilities spanning all inpatient units,• 40 hours per week, with variable shift options: either 8:00 am - 4:30 pm or four 10-hour shifts from 7:30 am - 5:00 pm,• No on-call required,• Weekend and holiday rotation required,• Coordinate utilization management activities throughout the hospital,Job Requirements• Active ME or compact RN license required,• Associate or Bachelor degree in Nursing required,• Minimum of 3 years clinical experience in med/surg nursing, home care, hospital case management, and/or utilization review required,• Current BLS certification required,• CCM or ACM certification preferred,• Utilization review and discharge planning experience required,• Strong written, verbal, and electronic communication skills necessary,Additional Information• Responsible for assessing patient needs and transitioning patients to appropriate care settings,• Collaborate with and lead an interdisciplinary team in care planning and daily rounds,• Arrange for patient resources including equipment, transportation, and insurance authorizations,• Participate in managing length of stay and understanding of hospital quality measures,• Work with community organizations to support patient care transitions,
