Senior Accountant

I'm currently recruiting for a rapidly expanding distribution company that is seeking to hire a Senior Accountant with offices located in New Jersey, NJ. This is a dynamic company that has over $100M+ in revenue and has continued to grow year over year. The team is seeking a Senior Accountant who will be responsible for assisting with the month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, variance analysis, and assisting the controller with any special projects. This is a fantastic company that has big plans for 2023 and 2024.Responsibilities:Assist with the month-end close overseeing all items on the balance sheet and income statementManage the GL by performing reconciliations and adjusting journal entriesReview all AR activityPerform monthly variance analysisAssist with any process improvements across the groupAssist with the annual audit and provide all supporting documentationQualificationsBachelors degree in accounting/financeStrong excel skills (VLOOKUP's, pivots)2+ years experienceStrong communication skillsAnalytical mind-set
