Apply via Dice today!Our client, a Fortune 5 company, is looking to hire a Contracts Manager II (Energy & Sustainability) in San Jose, CA (Hybrid: Mon/Fri Remote | Tue–Thu Onsite).Pay Rate Range: $50 to $60/hr. on w2, depending on experienceResponsibilities: About the RoleWe are seeking an Energy & Sustainability Asset Management Specialist to support the organization and tracking of data, contracts, and deliverables related to a growing renewable energy portfolio. This role sits within the Global Energy & Sustainability team and plays a critical part in advancing ambitious carbon neutrality and sustainability goals.The ideal candidate will bring experience in renewable energy contracts, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage large datasets with precision.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain and organize documentation and datasets related to renewable energy contracts and assetsMonitor renewable power plant performance, including outages and availability metricsTrack compliance with contractual milestones and deliverables across internal and external stakeholdersReview and validate purchase orders, invoices, payments, and Renewable Energy Credit (REC) processesSupport contract lifecycle activities including:Contract abstraction and documentationVendor setup and coordinationManaging contract-related communications and mailboxesPreparing and filing project status reportsSupport sustainability tracking and reporting tied to energy usage and renewable productionEnsure data accuracy and integrity across internal contract management systemsRequirements: Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in a relevant field2+ years of experience in contract management, paralegal work, lease accounting, project administration, or related fieldAt least 1 year of experience with electric power purchase agreements (PPAs) or energy asset management (Relevant academic experience may substitute for professional experience)Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data analysis, manipulation, and organization of large datasets)Strong written and verbal communication skillsHighly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivatedAbility to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, unstructured environmentPreferred QualificationsExperience reviewing and interpreting contract terms and provisionsBackground in energy, utilities, renewable development, or related industriesFamiliarity with energy data (e.g., electricity pricing, interval meter data)Understanding of corporate renewable energy procurement processesKnowledge of contract management systems and workflowsBasic understanding of relational databases and data structuresRussell Tobin offers eligible employee’s comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, and vision plans), supplemental coverage (accident insurance, critical illness insurance and hospital indemnity), 401(k)-retirement savings, life & disability insurance, an employee assistance program, legal support, auto, home insurance, pet insurance and employee discounts with preferred vendors.Equal Employment OpportunityRussell Tobin is an equal opportunity employer.
