Contract Payer Project Manager

This position will serve as our customers' primary contact, trusted advisor and senior resource throughout their implementation process.Essential Job DutiesLead implementation efforts through comprehensive planning and engagement activities with the goal of meeting project expectations for go-live and continued successServe as a leader and trusted advisor to a portfolio of customers throughout the implementation phases of a projectCoordinate product training and configuration sessions for customersCoordinate remote and on-site "go-live" support during projects as requiredAscertain customer business and system needs in order to make tactical planning RecommendationsEstablish internal project teams across multiple departments in order to develop and execute on project plans and ensure maximum customer successManage current project implementations by holding regular meetings, updating project plans, and addressing any complications with supervisor and customer representativeCreate and deliver customer-facing reports (weekly status reports), presentations and documentationManage numerous implementations at one time with the responsibilities of keeping internal and external team members on scheduleEnsure that implementations are kept on schedule and communicate any concerns to supervisor and/or customer representative in a timely and effective mannerContinually look at ways to improve the implementation methodology in order to enhance customer experienceJob DescriptionCoordinate and host regular customer conference calls for governance or trouble shootingHelp smooth friction points throughout the project with customer and project teamGarner greater understanding of company's software applications and business solutionsMaintains positive relations with all customers, always projecting a positive image of the companyEnsure individual, departmental and organizational key performance indicators ar continually in focus and individual contributions are driving these to successEncourage and promote a collaborative environmentRequired Education, Experience, Certifications and SkillsBachelor's degree5+ years of experience with project management, preferably in software implementation and in a client-facing capacityPMP certification requiredStrong knowledge of the healthcare industryStrong understanding of project methodology (Waterfall, Agile etc.) and knowledge of PMBOK FrameworkWorking experience with MS Project or similar project management toolQuick learner who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment under minimal supervisionExcellent team leadership skills and the ability to prioritize/self-direct as neededDemonstrates excellent communication, listening, and decision-making skillsProven track record of delivering projects on time and within agreed-upon scopeExcellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to build strong relationships with customers and internal team membersHighly engaging and collaborative style in working cross-functionallyStrong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirementsAbility to travel to customer sites to deliver on-site services if requiredProficient with MS Office Suite: (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook)
