Specialty Floor Technician / Custodian / Janitor

Specialty Floor Cleaner (Custodian, Janitor ) We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Specialty Floor Cleaner to join our team for work at any of our Michigan accounts! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in professional floor cleaning, with specific experience in handling and operating floor cleaning equipment. Full time position available: Monday-Friday: mainly a second shift schedule but could include daytime hours and weekend availability. We are looking for someone who can be very flexible. Pay: $18/hr. Responsibilities: Stripping, refinishing floor Scrubbing ceramic tile Burnishing floor Window washing (interior and exterior) Power washing Cleaning of carpets Delivery of cleaning materials or equipment at work sites Filling in cleaning for holes in the schedule doing general cleaning Working both in a team or individually Any other cleaning tasks the supervisor assigns Requirements: Great Attendance! Ability to clean in a variety of environments including medical settings, schools, manufacturing settings, offices, etc. Reliable vehicle to drive during shift Ability to pass a criminal background check, drug screening including for THC, ability to submit fingerprints to be authorized to work in public schools, and ability to pass a motor vehicle records check (this means you need to have a good driving record) 18 years of age or older with valid ID Ability to work efficiently while upholding company’s quality standards Maintain effective communication with supervisors/managers and other team members Cleaning experience required; equipment experience required Benefits of joining our team: PTO, holiday pay Opportunities for advancement / promotion Merit based pay increases $300 Referral bonuses for qualified candidates.
