Job DescriptionProject Manager - Structural Steel / Miscellaneous MetalsPosition OverviewThe Project Manager is responsible for managing structural steel and miscellaneous metals projects from project kickoff through completion. This role works closely with internal teams including estimating, detailing, fabrication, and field operations to ensure successful project delivery.The Project Manager will coordinate schedules, manage project documentation, track costs, and maintain communication with general contractors and project stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesManage structural steel and miscellaneous metals construction projectsCoordinate project schedules with detailing, fabrication, and field teamsReview shop drawings and coordinate detailing revisionsTrack project budgets, costs, and financial performanceManage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentationCoordinate procurement of materials and subcontractorsCommunicate regularly with general contractors and project stakeholdersSupport fabrication shop scheduling and erection sequencingMonitor project progress and identify potential issues or delaysEnsure safety and quality standards are maintained throughout the projectQualifications1-5 years of experience in structural steel or miscellaneous metals constructionExperience working with steel fabrication and erection projectsFamiliarity with steel detailing software such as SDS/2, Tekla, or similarStrong understanding of construction drawings and specificationsExperience managing RFIs, submittals, and project documentationStrong organizational and communication skillsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferredBenefitsCompetitive salaryHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(k) retirement planPaid Time OffBonus potentialCareer growth opportunitiesSend resume to mitchell.guerrieri@gogpac.com for more information
