Obtain data reports in order to maintain schedules for timely completion of reevaluations.2. Plan evaluation schedule in order to meet required timelines.3. Coordinate with other members of the multidisciplinary team to provide coordinated evaluation within timelines.4. Collaborate and coordinate ARD/IEP schedules with campus staff.5. Manage schedule to inform the director when assistance is needed in meeting timelines.6. Assist other professionals as time permits.7. Communicate with building administrators regarding state assessments8. Maintain organized eligibility folders for students located on assigned campus(es).9. Maintain required information in eligibility folders on assigned campus(es).10. Report discrepancies in information from eligibility folders to the special education director or supervisor.11. Provide documentation of services to director as requested.Performance Effectiveness: Knowledge and Techniques1. Consult and coordinate with teachers when requested to assist in intervention strategies and techniques2. Utilize various assessment instruments and techniques, as a part of a multi disciplinary team toassist in identifying students with disabilities.3. Demonstrates high degree of knowledge, understanding and skill with respect to the appraisal process.4. Write compliant evaluation reports documenting state and federal requirements.5. Provide training on the campus as requested by the principal or director.6. Train and assist teachers in doing criterion-referenced testing as needed.7. High degree of knowledge regarding special education compliance requirements.Performance Effectiveness: Staff and Parent Relations1. Communicate with appropriate school personnel regarding evaluation results and strategies.2. Communicate with the parent (and student when appropriate) regarding evaluation results and strategies.3. Constructively interprets school services and guidelines when appropriate.4. Coordinates and collaborates with school professionals to benefit students.5. Displays sensitivity to the concerns of staff members and colleagues.6. Works cooperatively and constructively with other departments, staff, and parents.7. Provides consultative assistance to teachers upon request (including strategies, assist with IEP goals/objectives, etc.) and provides follow-up as needed.Performance Effectiveness: Professional Attitude and Conduct1.
