Home Health AideRight at Home is seeking dependable, compassionate Home Health Aide to provide companion and personal cares to our clients in Cedar Falls and surrounding areas. Companion care includes light housekeeping, laundry assistance, transportation, medication reminders, meal preparation and participating in activities the client enjoys like puzzles or games. Clients may also need assisted walking, transfers, and exercises. Personal care includes help with bathing, dressing, toileting, and personal hygiene. There is no level of experience or training required as we provide a training and mentoring program to help you be successful.We are looking for a Home Health Aide with the availability to work some hours during weekdays and weekends in Waterloo and Cedar Falls. Compensation and benefits for a Home Health Aide include competitive pay- $18-20/hour depending on the type of client and work setting, flexible schedules, unlimited telehealth visits with Teladoc, health insurance offered after 60 days with a 30-hr work week minimum, referral program, savings/retirement plan, next-day pay with Tapcheck, Lyft emergency transportation service, ongoing paid training and development, a library of senior care reference materials and resources in the office and online, on-the-job training for unique client situations, paid travel time in between clients and paid mileage, an extremely positive work environment, access to leadership, recognition, celebrations, and great team interactions!What you will do as a Home Health Aide includes providing light housekeeping, doing laundry, making meals, transporting clients to appointments or the store, assisting with personal cares like transfers, toileting, showers, hygiene, medication reminders, life management, providing companionship with engaging activities and ensuring client safety, reporting changes in condition or concerns around the well-being of the client, delegated nursing tasks like catheter care, medication administration, etc with training by RN, and following agency policies, procedures, and protocols.Requirements of a Home Health Aide include a valid driver's license, must have own vehicle with proof of adequate car insurance and the ability to travel within our service area which is a 45-minute radius of Waterloo/Cedar Falls, ability to safely operate a vehicle in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations with or without reasonable accommodations, previous work experience as a professional caregiver, pass background check, ability to be reliable and dependable, desire to care for older adults, keeping them safe and independent in their homes, read, write, speak, and understand English with or without reasonable accommodations as needed for the job, experience with Hoyer lifts is preferred, though not requiredwe're happy to train the right candidate.Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour Right at HomeWaterloo is locally owned and operated, was established in 2022, and our mission is simple...to improve the quality of life for those we serve.
