OverviewPosition: Occupational Therapist - Acute Care HospitalLocation: HealthWorks in Morgantown, WV, at MonHealthSchedule: Full Time with Weekend and Holiday RotationsHealthWorks Rehabilitation and Fitness in Morgantown, WV has proudly served as Mon Health's inpatient rehabilitation provider for more than 25 years. Our 188-bed inpatient hospital is seeking additional full-time Occupational Therapists to join our growing team.We offer a supportive, multidisciplinary environment with experienced clinicians who are well-prepared to mentor and guide new graduate Occupational Therapists during their hospital fieldwork rotations.This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position that includes rotating weekend and holiday shifts shared among the therapy team.Position SummaryEvaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements, and modifies treatment plans in accordance with the patient's needs and physician direction. Responsible for the delegation and direction of all discipline-specific therapy services for those assigned patients. Ensures the design of functional treatment programs, allowing for an effective return to community activities. Serves as an educator of patients, families, students, co-workers, and self.
