Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant Location: Hayward, CA Agency: Acruex Health Pay: $990 to $1,110 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Pay Rate: $33.00 - $37.00/Hourly. Summary: A Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) works under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide rehabilitative care that helps patients regain independence in daily living, work, and recreational activities. This role involves implementing therapy plans, monitoring progress, and educating patients and caregivers. Responsibilities: Implement treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist. Assist patients with exercises and activities to improve fine motor, gross motor, cognitive, and sensory skills. Support patients in performing daily living activities (dressing, eating, grooming, etc.). Monitor patient progress and report observations to the supervising OT. Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, adaptive techniques, and safety measures.
