Electrical Systems Engineer

Are you an Electrical Engineer looking to apply your skills to complex projects? As an Electrical Systems Engineer, you will be instrumental in providing design and analysis for critical projects. This role requires a solid understanding of electrical systems, proficiency in software such as ETAP, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external clients. Key Responsibilities: Conduct engineering design and analysis for projects, focusing on electrical systems, instrumentation, controls, and system wiring to ensure project success. Utilize software packages like ETAP, Mathcad, and Maximo to perform detailed calculations, simulations, and analyses. Develop engineering design documents, including technical evaluations, obsolete parts equivalencies, and specifications, adhering to industry standards and project requirements. Collaborate with internal departments to gather necessary information and resolve engineering challenges, ensuring seamless project execution. Work closely with clients and site personnel to address and resolve issues, ensuring project objectives are met and client satisfaction is achieved. Plan and schedule work effectively to meet project deadlines and assignment requirements, contributing to the overall project timeline. Contribute to the development of procurement specifications for electrical commodities and review proposals, ensuring quality and compliance. Qualifications: Required Skills Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering. Proficiency in using software packages such as ETAP, Mathcad, or similar tools for electrical analysis and design. Preferred Skills Demonstrated knowledge of power plant systems and equipment. Experience working on power projects. Familiarity with developing procurement specifications for electrical commodities.
