LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WITH A STRONG BACKGROUND IN STRUCTUAL ANALYSIS, NEW PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT, AND MENTORING / DEVELOPING TEAM.THIS IS AN ONSITE ROLESALARY: $130K-$150KMUST HAVE A STRONG BACKGROUND WITH SOLIDWORKS AS WELLSenior Structural EngineerAbout the RoleWe are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join our team in a collaborative, fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role partners with engineers and cross-functional teams to support both new and existing product development.You will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and testing systems and components to ensure they meet performance, safety, and regulatory standards. This role also involves creating technical documentation, specifications, and reports.Our Core ValuesTeam-OrientedResults-DrivenUnparalleled ServiceSafety-FocusedTransformationalWe are committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace where innovation thrives and employees are empowered to turn ideas into reality.Key ResponsibilitiesLead new product development (NPD) projects using a phased-gate processInterpret, organize, and execute engineering assignments from concept through productionBuild and evaluate prototypes and pilot units; refine designs as neededEnsure projects stay on schedule and meet performance requirementsMaintain compliance with company procedures, codes, and industry standardsDrive cost reduction initiatives through design and process improvementsEnsure proper documentation and adherence to NPD processesCollaborate with cross-functional teams across all levels of the organizationPrepare design specs, drawings, test plans, and technical reportsQualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or related field7+ years of experience in a manufacturing environmentStrong experience with SolidWorks and AutoCAD (2D/3D modeling)Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems (highly preferred)Knowledge of residential and commercial building codes (a plus)Experience with manufacturing processes such as:Sheet metalMachiningWeldingProficiency in Microsoft OfficeStrong communication and interpersonal skills
