Based in Cleveland region, OH, PSG Group strives to make a difference through exceptional service and innovation.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time hybrid role for a Project Accountant based in Cleveland, OH, with the flexibility to work remotely on occasion. The Project Accountant will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of various projects, ensuring compliance with budgets, monitoring expenses, preparing financial reports, and assisting Company leadership and Project Management Office with financial planning and forecasting. The role also includes tasks like invoicing, reconciling accounts, tracking project costs, and collaborating with teams to maintain accurate financial records. details like: Manage daily accounting activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and financial reportingHelp develop and improve accounting workflows, internal controls, and financial procedures within a growing organizationPrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reportsSupport budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management initiativesMaintain accurate financial records while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policiesPartner with leadership on financial planning, operational reporting, and business decision supportAssist with payroll coordination, expense management, and project-related accounting activitiesUtilize ERP and accounting systems to improve reporting efficiency and financial operationsQualificationsMust-Haves as the Accountant:3+ years of accounting experience within construction, project-based, or similar operational environmentsBachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related fieldExperience improving or implementing accounting processes within a startup or high-growth companyAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and financial data analysisExperience using accounting or ERP systems such as NetSuite, D365, SAP, or QuickBooks and ADPStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to handle sensitive financial information with discretion and professionalismHigh attention to detail with strong organizational and analytical skillsWillingness to travel as neededNice-to-Haves as the Accountant:CPA certification or active pursuit of CPA designationMandarin language skillsExperience with construction accounting, project accounting, or job costingExposure to multi-entity or rapidly scaling business environmentsOur Offers:Competitive compensation ranging from $30-$50/hourMedical and vision benefitsRetirement and savings programsLife insurance coverageEducational assistance and professional development supportPaid time offParenting and family-focused benefitsClear long-term advancement opportunities into Financial Manager leadership roles
