About IvyIvy is a Chicago-based dating app that helps people meet in real life. Instead of endless swiping, Ivy makes it easier to start a conversation when you’re already out. Ivy shows you other singles at the same bar so you can break the ice with a like and take the first step toward meeting.The RoleWe’re hiring a responsible, trustworthy Event Representative to represent Ivy at bars and events across Chicago. You’ll be on-site at nightlife venues helping new users download Ivy and check in to the bar they’re at; creating energy, driving adoption, and helping people meet IRL.What You’ll Do-Attend Ivy-supported events at bars/venues across Chicago-Approach and engage potential new users in a friendly, respectful way-Help people download the Ivy app and successfully check in to the venue-Represent Ivy’s brand with professionalism and positive energy-Track check-ins and event performance (simple reporting after events)-Coordinate with the Ivy team on locations, timing, and goalsRequirementsMust be able to work a minimum of 3 events per week (minimum 6 hours total event time/week)Availability during weekday evenings and weekend evenings (typical nightlife hours)Comfortable working in busy bars and social settingsStrong communication skills; confident and outgoingDependable, punctual, and trustworthyBased in Chicago and able to travel between neighborhoods/venuesMust arrive 15-30 minutes before shift/event start timePay + Bonus$25/hour $15 for every 15 check-insWhy This Role Is GreatFun, social, high-energy work in Chicago nightlifeDirect impact on growing a real-world dating communityPerformance-based upside through bonuses
