Cleveland Ave, Salt Lake City, UT 84115About The RoleCBI Security Services is seeking a Security Dispatcher to serve as the operational hub of our field operations. Dispatch is responsible for ensuring that every shift is covered, every call is answered, and every issue is addressed in real time. If you are someone who can stay composed under pressure, solve problems on the fly, and take ownership of outcomes-this role offers strong growth potential.What We're Looking ForWe are looking for individuals who demonstrate:Strong decision-making and prioritization skillsAbility to remain calm under pressureHigh level of accountability and ownershipClear and professional communication skillsStrong attention to detailAbility to multitask without losing accuracyA problem-solving mindset, not a task-following mindsetWhat You'll Be DoingMonitoring and managing daily shift coverage across all active sitesCoordinating call-offs, replacements, and last-minute scheduling changesAnswering and managing incoming calls from officers, clients, and managementCommunicating clearly and professionally across multiple channels (phone, text, software systems)Tracking and documenting incidents, attendance, and operational updatesPrioritizing multiple issues at once and making real-time decisionsSupporting field officers and ensuring they have the information needed to perform their dutiesEscalating issues appropriately when necessaryQualificationsMust be 18 years or older and eligible to work in the United States.Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. (bilingual skills are a plus)Tech-savvy and comfortable with computers, apps, and dispatch systems.Must be able to type on average 45+ wpm.Physically capable of performing the duties of the position, including walking up/downstairs and maintaining full alertness throughout the shift.Must possess sound judgement and decision-making skills in both routine and emergency situations.Ability to meet grooming and professional appearance standards.Must be able to lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 10 lbs. as part of regular duties.Strong observation and attention to detail skills, with the ability to identify and report security issues or safety hazards promptly.Customer service orientation is highly desirable, with the ability to interact professionally and courteously with clients, visitors, and the general public.Must be able to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and a strong work ethic.About UsWith over 30 years of service in the Salt Lake region, CBI Security has earned a trusted reputation for professionalism and excellence.
