About the PositionSteven Nissan is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to support daily dealership accounting operations. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with daily transactions, and supporting the accounting team across multiple functions. The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced dealership environment. ResponsibilitiesRecord daily transactions, journal entries, and financial data into accounting systems Process daily deposits accurately and in a timely manner Assist with month-end closing procedures Maintain organized digital and physical financial records Support accounting and administrative functions across departments as needed Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial documentation Assist with general office and accounting tasks as assigned QualificationsPrevious accounting or office experience preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to handle confidential financial information with integrity Basic understanding of accounting principles Proficiency with computers and accounting software Ability to work independently and as part of a team High School Diploma or equivalent required Compensation$21 - $27 per hour based on experienceFull-time position Competitive hourly pay based on qualifications and experience ScheduleFull-time position 5-day work week Benefits401(k) retirement plan Medical, Vision, and Dental insurance Paid time off and holidays Opportunities for growth within Steven Automotive GroupWhy Steven Nissan?Steven Nissan offers a stable and professional work environment where employees are supported and valued.
