Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Proximity Learning is looking for a Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support K–12 students during the current school year. This fully remote opportunity allows you to make a meaningful impact on students’ communication skills and academic success from anywhere. We’re seeking a collaborative, student-centered professional who thrives in a virtual environment and is passionate about helping students overcome speech and language challenges. If you are dedicated to helping students build confidence and strengthen their communication skills in a virtual setting, we’d love to connect.Key ResponsibilitiesEvaluate, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in K–12 studentsDevelop and implement individualized speech therapy programsConduct virtual therapy sessions and maintain progress documentationCollaborate with teachers, parents, and stakeholders on student progressProvide regular updates and recommend strategies to support communication developmentReevaluate students in accordance with district, state, and federal guidelinesRequired QualificationsMaster’s degree in Speech-Language PathologyActive Illinois SLP licenseASHA CCC preferredMinimum 2 Years Of Experience In Speech-language PathologyAbility to effectively assess student speech through virtual platformsComfortable using virtual tools and technology for communication and data trackingFlexible availability during school-day hours across time zonesLocation: 100% RemoteEmployment Type: 1099 Contract (no benefits)
