Manufacturing Engineer

Position OverviewSeeking a hands-on Senior Manufacturing & Industrial Engineer to provide daily manufacturing support, lead process optimization, and drive Lean/Six Sigma initiatives within a medical device manufacturing environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDaily Operations & Troubleshooting: Provide technical support for production lines, resolve process issues, and qualify components.Process Improvement: Lead Lean/Six Sigma projects, Kaizen events, and Value Stream Mapping (VSM) to reduce waste and improve efficiency.Problem Solving & Validation: Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA), apply DMAIC/CAPA, update PFMEAs, and lead process validations.Data Analysis: Track operational metrics/KPIs using statistical tools to back engineering decisions.Compliance & Collaboration: Partner with Quality, Operations, and Supply Chain to maintain strict medical device regulatory compliance.RequirementsEducation & Experience: Bachelor’s in Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering + medical device background.Technical Skills: Process validation, equipment optimization, Root Cause Analysis, PFMEA, CAPA.Continuous Improvement: Proven experience with Lean, Six Sigma, and DMAIC.Soft Skills: Strong cross-functional leadership, project management, and communication skills.
