Material Handler

Firenza Stone is looking for a dependable, hardworking Material Handler to join our growing team. This position plays a critical role in our daily operations by safely moving, organizing, and preparing premium stone slabs for fabrication and installation.If you enjoy physical work, take pride in staying organized, and want to be part of a team that creates beautiful spaces, we’d love to hear from you.Responsibilities●     Safely load, unload, move, and store granite, quartz, marble, porcelain, and quartzite slabs.●     Operate forklifts, slab clamps, overhead lifting equipment, and other material handling equipment (training provided if needed).●     Receive incoming slab deliveries and inspect materials for damage or discrepancies.●     Organize inventory in the warehouse and slab gallery for efficient access.●     Pull and stage materials for fabrication and customer pickups.●     Assist with inventory counts and maintaining accurate material locations.●     Keep the warehouse, slab yard, and work areas clean, organized, and safe.●     Follow all safety procedures and properly use personal protective equipment (PPE).●     Support the fabrication and installation teams as needed.Qualifications●     Previous warehouse, manufacturing, construction, or material handling experience preferred.●     Forklift experience is a plus.●     Ability to safely lift, push, and maneuver heavy materials with the proper equipment.●     Strong work ethic and attention to detail.●     Reliable attendance and punctuality.●     Team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn.●     Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.*Clean driving record preferred for occasional deliveries*Physical Requirements●     Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday.●     Ability to work around heavy stone materials and industrial equipment.●     Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors as needed.Why Firenza Stone?●     Competitive pay based on experience●     Stable, full-time employment●     Opportunities for growth and advancement●     Supportive team environment●     Work with premium materials on beautiful residential and commercial projects
