You will have the opportunity to conduct site visits, complete Environmental Site Assessments and provide recommendations and solutions to the Project Manager and clients, while understanding the assessment's potential impact on the transaction process.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & TASKSComplete and finalize specific project tasks according to deadlines and within budgetProject research (historical, analytical, etc.)Communication with client and subject site representativesData compilation and organizationReport authoringPreparation of quality supporting documents (site figures, appendices, etc.)Other tasks as assigned by the Project Manager associated with report deliverable schedule and planRESPONSIBILITIESComplete specific project tasks as directed by the Project ManagerConduct project research as applicable to the scope of work (historical, analytical, etc.)Data compilation and organizationConducting site reconnaissance, including sampling activities, if necessaryTechnical report authoringPreparation of quality supporting report documents/filesEffectively communicate project progress and issues with the Project ManagerMaintain communication with team members throughout the course of the projectPlan, schedule and track project timelines and milestones to ensure project progress status is on scheduleProvide solid recommendations and solutions to the Project Manager and clients, while understanding the assessment's potential impact on the transaction processIdentify and resolve issues with projectsDeliver appropriate progress reports (verbally or by email), and recommendations to the Project Manager and Client.Coordinate and respond to requests for changes in project scopeKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIESExcellent communication skillsAbility to work on projects concurrentlyProven ability to successfully deliver a quality product on timeExceptional writing skillsAbility to cultivate strong relationships within a teamQUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree from an accredited university in biological/physical/environmental sciences.2 + years of consulting or intern experience is a plus.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSMust be able to read, write, speak & comprehend EnglishMust be able to communicate clearly in person and over the telephoneVisual acuity adequate to perform job duties, including reading information from printed sources and computer screenMust be able to perform fieldwork and have a valid driver's license.Requires frequent bending, reaching, standing, walking, sitting, pushing, and pulling exerted regularly throughout the work shift.COMPENSATIONThe pay scale for this role considers a wide range of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Please note, the disclosed pay scale estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic location where the position may be filled.
