A DAY IN THE LIFEEnthalpy Analytical, is part of the larger organization, Montrose Environmental Group, is comprised of over 9 laboratories servicing air, water, soil and toxicity testing. Regulations drive the need for our services, but our unique capabilities allow us to add value to clients beyond environmental compliance.The Courier will receive orders from a centralized dispatch, retrieve samples from clients, and then deliver the samples in a timely and safe manner. We provide our clients with the absolute highest in customer service, and you must be able to maintain a professional demeanor and appearance in order to best be an ambassador for our brand. Our ideal candidate has prior delivery or professional driving experience. You also need a keen eye for detail, safe driving skills, and a thorough knowledge of the wider geographic areaOur Sacramento, CA Service Center is currently seeking a Part-Time Courier to support the Tracy, CA service area.Schedule - Monday thru Friday, up to 5 hrs per dayMust have open availability to work any 4-5 hour shift, M-F between 8am - 6pm; Schedule may vary based on client needs. As a key member of the laboratory team, this role will be responsible for a full range of activities including:Driving the company vehicle to client locations, delivering supplies to those locations, and returning samples to the Service Center. Providing courteous, respectful, responsive and excellent client service to internal and external clients. Maintaining the company vehicle in optimal driving condition. Maintaining a clean vehicle, both inside and outside. Other duties as assignedDemonstrate discretion, confidentiality and good judgement when dealing with sensitive company, personnel and client informationNecessary QualificationsHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED) requiredPass background checks and initial drug screeningValid driver’s licenseMust have a driving record that meets the Montrose requirements for operating company vehiclesSafetyDrivers must inform their supervisor within 3 days if they are ticketed or arrested for driving related offences outside of work, and immediately if the event happens on the job.
