Content Creator/ Designer

Roy’zzz is looking for a creative individual to help compose, curate and distribute fresh content for our premium quality cannabis dispensary and the partner brands with which we’re associated. This job will require some flexibility in scheduling and fresh creative perspective backed by knowledge of the industry and the willingness to research and design based on data and marketing intel. Organization and initiative will be a must. This individual will be responsible for creating and producing content for purposes of marketing including but not limited to: Email campaign development and distribution Social media campaign development and distribution Print collateral design, production, printing and distribution Visual content library – event photography, product photography, development of supporting graphics Campaign creation Development and adherence to a marketing calendar Development and adherence to a tactical marketing plan and performance metrics for reporting campaign effectiveness Requirements: 3+ years experience as a designer or marketing specialist familiar with retail or consumer business Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud including Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Lightroom Working knowledge of Premiere, After Effects a plus Working knowledge Microsoft Office Working knowledge of Wordpress and the ability to maintain, update, optimize and report on Google Analytics Photography and image editing for events, products, and personnel Creative writing a plus Maintaining professionalism and respect Ensures the company’s reputation does not suffer negatively in any manner Maintains a positive work environment conducive to trust and respect Ensures equipment is functional and maintained Basic Qualifications: Must be 21 years of age or older according to South Dakota state law Must have a valid driver’s license Must be able to pass a criminal background check Prior marketing experience (4+ years) Bachelor’s Degree in Business, or equivalent in professional and life experience Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in the medical cannabis industry highly desirable Experience working in the health & wellness industry highly desirable Experience in social media marketing Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods of time Ability to sit for long periods of time Walk frequently Reach, twist, and turn with hands and arms Climb or balance Stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl Frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds Vision abilities required by this position include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perceptions and the ability to focus Employee Benefits: Competitive rate of pay Paid time off Excellent benefits package including health insurance and 401k Staff Discounts Additional Duties: Please note that this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
