Oral Surgery Assistant

Job Description Description: Nu Image Surgical and Implant Center is seeking a reliable and motivated Clinical Assistant to join our oral surgery team in Cary. This role supports the oral surgeon and clinical staff by assisting with patient care, maintaining a safe and efficient clinical environment, and ensuring a positive patient experience throughout the surgical process.Schedule:Tuesday through Friday, 6:45 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.Key Responsibilities:Assist the oral surgeon during surgical procedures and patient care appointmentsPrepare treatment rooms and surgical instruments prior to proceduresEnsure all equipment and materials are properly sterilized and organizedTake and record patient vitals and assist with patient preparation for proceduresProvide post operative instructions to patients as directed by the surgeonMaintain accurate clinical documentation and patient recordsFollow infection control and sterilization protocols in accordance with practice policies and OSHA standardsSupport efficient patient flow and assist with room turnover between patientsMaintain a clean and organized clinical environmentAssist with inventory management and supply stocking as neededTravel to other practice locations when necessary to support clinical operationsQualifications:Previous dental or oral surgery assisting experience preferredStrong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast paced environmentExcellent communication and patient care skillsAbility to work effectively as part of a teamReliable transportation and willingness to travel to other practice locations when neededCPR certification preferredPhysical Requirements:Ability to stand for extended periods of timeAbility to lift and move clinical supplies and equipment when necessaryManual dexterity to assist during surgical proceduresAbout Nu Image Surgical and Implant Center:Nu Image Surgical and Implant Center is committed to providing high quality oral surgery and implant care in a safe, professional, and patient focused environment.
