Facility Support PersonnelDepartment: Environmental ServicesEmployment Type: Full TimeLocation: Ypsilanti, MiReporting To: Savannah Maycroft-RaghibCompensation: $17.00 - $19.00 / hourDescriptionSchedule: Full Time | 40 hours per week | Monday - Friday | 8 am - 4:30 pmDepartment: Environmental Services | Muskegon, MIWhat You'll Do In This Role:Help create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for everyone who walks through our doors. As a Custodian, you'll play a vital role in supporting participants, staff, and visitors by maintaining high standards of cleanliness that promote infection prevention, workplace safety, and overall comfort in a healthcare and adult day setting. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality ensure that all PACE facilities consistently meet health, safety, and regulatory standards.Key ResponsibilitiesCleaning and SanitationClean, disinfect, and maintain all PACE facility areas, including:Participant care areasDay centers, rooms, and activity areasExam and treatment rooms - Restrooms and breakroomsOffices, conference rooms, and staff areasHallways, entrances, and common areasPerform floor care including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, buffing, and periodic deep cleaningEmpty trash, recycling, and medical waste in accordance with policies and regulationsFacility SupportReplenish supplies such as paper products, soap, hand sanitizer, and cleaning materialsSet up and break down rooms for participant activities, meals, clinics, meetings, and eventsReport maintenance issues, safety hazards, or needed repairs promptly to leadershipAssist with snow removal, minor outdoor upkeep, or seasonal cleaning as assignedSafety, Compliance & ConfidentialityFollow OSHA, CDC, state, and PACE-specific health and safety guidelines, ensuring the facility remains safe and orderlyMaintain awareness of HIPAA and participant confidentiality at all timesParticipate in required trainings related to infection control, emergency preparedness, and workplace safetyEmergency and Special TasksPerform emergency cleaning tasks and special assignments as instructed by management.Ensure all duties contribute to maintaining the facility's cleanliness, safety, and comfort for all participants, staff, and visitors.The above is a summary of the position, it in no way states or implies that these are the only duties this position will be required to perform.
