This is a unique opportunity to provide comprehensive endocrine care to a diverse and medically underserved population in a region known for its vibrant culture, natural beauty, and exceptional quality of life.With a robust referral base, cutting-edge technology, and a collaborative medical staff, this role offers the autonomy of private practice with the support of an integrated health system that prioritizes patient-centered care.Key Responsibilities: Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a wide range of endocrine and metabolic disorders, including diabetes, thyroid disease, adrenal and pituitary conditions, and osteoporosisPerform comprehensive consultations and follow-ups in a 100% outpatient settingManage insulin pumps, CGMs, and other endocrine-related technologiesCollaborate with PCPs and specialists to coordinate careOrder, interpret, and follow up on labs and imagingEducate patients and families on disease management and lifestyle changesParticipate in quality initiatives and community outreach programsMinimal (if any) call primarily outpatient-focusedUtilize EPIC EMR for all documentation and care coordinationQualifications: MD or DO from an accredited medical schoolCompletion of an ACGME-accredited Endocrinology fellowshipBoard Certified / Board Eligible in Endocrinology, Diabetes & MetabolismEligible for NY medical license and hospital credentialingPassion for working in rural or underserved communitiesInterest in telehealth a plusCompensation & Benefits: Hospital-employed with competitive guaranteed base salary + productivity bonusFull benefits package: health, dental, vision, PTO, CME, retirement, and moreOccurrence-based malpractice coverageRelocation assistance and sign-on bonus negotiableSupportive, collegial environment with room for professional growthLifestyle & Location: Located just 2 hours north of NYC and 30 minutes south of Albany, this charming community offers the best of both worlds four-season outdoor recreation, historic small-town charm, and a thriving arts scene.
