The Underwriting Assistant supports the underwriting staff by carrying out various support tasks. Prior insurance experience is NOT required. You can Earn While You Learn!Also open to candidates on-site in our office in Peters, MO, Burlington, NC, Charlotte, NC or Boone, NC.ResponsibilitiesIssuance of quotes, endorsements, and cancellation notices.Inbound and outbound calls with agents, clients, and brokers.Response to submissions, e-mails, messages within timely manner.Assist business individuals and/or teams responsible for preparing binding documents.Maintain updated documentation.Manage and coordinate the filing of documentation as it relates to policies.Follow up with customers to insure accurate records.RequirementsMust be proficient with Microsoft Office.Strong communication and computer skills.Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and have excellent time management skills.Must have strong teamwork skills.Education / ExperienceAssociate's Degree preferred.Candidate EligibilityCandidates should be comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership.Why Join UsAt Acrisure, we're building more than a business, we're building a community where people can grow, thrive, and make an impact.
