Unlike other cooking positions in hospitality (restaurants, hotels, resorts), in this role you'll have the opportunity to build life-long relationships serving our residents and experience their gratitude for a job well-done. Additionally, late shifts are not part of this job, so you can get home and enjoy your nights!Working as a Cook with our Dining Services team, you will:Be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment, including properly preparing, serving, and storing foodEnsure the special dietary needs of residents are metMake a significant contribution to our residents' quality of life by maintaining the highest possible quality and consistency of meals prepared and servedDemonstrate organizational skills around time managementWork in a team environment where communication is keyPromote the mission, values, and beliefs of Cascade LivingCascades of Grants Pass (independent living, assisted living, memory care) provides care for residents and their families all over the region, including Roseburg, Medford and Ashland.
