About the Opportunity:The Client Controller acts as a key financial partner for multiple clients, bridging day-to-day accounting operations and strategic financial guidance. This role involves analyzing financial results, mentoring accounting staff, and directly communicating with clients to help them understand their financial standing and implications. The position supports budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning, contributing to clients'' overall financial health.3. Responsibilities:Review monthly close work and financial statements for accuracy and complianceProvide technical guidance and mentorship to accounting staffAnalyze financial results to identify trends, risks, and opportunitiesMaintain strong client relationships through proactive communicationPresent financial statements clearly to clientsLead client budgeting and forecasting effortsManage multiple client priorities and deadlinesSupport client onboarding and training on accounting processes and technologyCollaborate with financial leadership on analysis and client-specific projectsIdentify and implement process improvements and coordinate with tax and audit providers4. Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field; CPA or MBA preferredMinimum 5 years of experience in public or client accounting/advisory servicesExpert-level QuickBooks Online knowledge; certification preferredExperience in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and client presentationsAdvanced Excel and proficiency with cloud-based accounting technologiesAbility to manage multiple clients and deadlines independentlyStrong interpersonal and communication skillsFamiliarity with tax matters related to client accountingNonprofit accounting and audit experience preferred5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:Salary Range: $80,000 to $85,0006.
