The Plant Controller oversees consolidated financial reporting, accounting operations, and financial controls across one or two manufacturing locations. This role will closely work with plant leadership & GM, Corporate Controller and Director of Financial Planning & Analysis to ensure accurate costing, accounting, analysis and reporting at the Plant level.Position requires someone who has worked as a Plant Controller or Costing Manager in Job Cost Environment.The position leads financial consolidation, manager one or two plant finance team and provides financial insights to support operational performance, strategic decision-making, and reporting to executive leadership.Key ResponsibilitiesImplements and maintains a system of local internal controls over accounting transactions to minimize risk and comply with SyBridge Corporate policies and auditor requirementsOversees the production of monthly financial reports; ensures that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or international financial reporting standardsProduces the annual budget and rolling forecasts; then performs monthly fluctuation analysis to actual results and reports significant budget/forecast differences to managementProvides financial analysis, with emphasis on capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiationsWork with team to ensure customer invoicing is timely and accurateEnsure all receivables are collected in the approved credit termsAttend the weekly spend and weekly production/forecasting meetingsEnsure all WIP/Unbilled has the appropriate documentation (Purchase Orders, LOI, etc.)Ensure Revenue Recognition policies are adhered to and all supporting documentation is maintainedEnsure all government submissions are prepared accurately by deadlinesReview the biweekly payroll input and correct any discrepancies foundIdentify and recommend any accounting and costing process improvements to the Corporate ControllerAnalyze financial data for accuracy and involve appropriate personnel to ensure discrepancies are resolvedMaintain general ledger including; verifying account numbers, reconcile accounts, prepare monthly journal entries and other duties as requiredManage vendor relationships from both a cost control and payment standpointMust maintain confidentiality of all information received from customers, suppliers or SyBridge Technologies Group of CompaniesEnsures compliance with local, state, and federal government requirementsResponsible for maintaining safe operations by keeping work area clean and organized and by adhering to safety procedures and regulationsPerforms other related duties as necessary or assignedCollaborations And Partnerships ResponsibilitiesWorks closely with the Corporate Controller and Operations to achieve strong financial reporting adherence within tight timeframesDevelops professional relationships with external auditors and provide needed information for the annual auditQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting requiredCertified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designation preferredTen years or more of related experience required, manufacturing experience preferredProficient in accounting and tax preparation softwareProficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar softwareExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent organizational and time management skillsOur commitment to you…SyBridge Technologies is an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits Discrimination and Harassment of any kind.
