Travel RN - Med/Surg Tele

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position at a Level I Trauma hospital in Boston, MA, requiring 2+ years of acute care experience and strong telemetry skills.Job Details• Acute Medical Surgical unit (Menino 6 East) within a Level I Trauma hospital in Boston, MA,• 36-bed unit with a general patient ratio of 1:4 or 1:5,• Strong telemetry monitoring required, including independent reading and interpretation of rhythm strips,• 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, with day/night rotation,• Every other weekend required,• Every other holiday required,• Epic EMR experience preferred,• 13-week contract,Job Requirements• Active MA RN license required,• Current BLS certification required,• Minimum 2 years of acute care experience in Acute Medical Surgical required,• Strong telemetry skills with ability to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips,• Level I Trauma hospital experience required,• Must pass a telemetry competency test with a score of 85% or better on Day 1,• Two professional references required for consideration: at least one must be from a manager-level or above (supervisor title not accepted), one reference must include a performance evaluation within the last 12 months, and the second may be within 3 years,• References cannot be provided by another traveler,• Travel experience highly preferred,Additional Information• Candidates must pass the Relias Advanced Dysrhythmia Test (A or B); the test may only be taken twice,• Epic EMR experience is preferred but not required,• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travel candidates,
