Information Technology Project Manager

Job Description: Project Manager (PMO Support)Type: Contract-to-HireOverview:We are partnering with a rapidly growing healthcare organization in the Tampa area that is building out its Project Management Office (PMO). They are seeking a Project Manager to work closely with leadership and help bring structure, visibility, and execution discipline across a wide range of initiatives.This is a high-impact role where you’ll help shape processes while managing both technical and operational projects.Key Responsibilities:Support the development and rollout of PMO processes and governanceManage multiple concurrent projects across IT and business functionsBuild and maintain project plans, timelines, and dashboardsIdentify and manage dependencies, risks, and critical pathsServe as a go-to resource for project methodology and best practicesTrack and report on project status, progress, and metricsPartner directly with leadership to drive execution and prioritiesUtilize tools such as Smartsheet (or similar platforms) for tracking and reportingQualifications:2+ years of project management experienceExperience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environmentFamiliarity with project management tools (Smartsheet, Monday.com, etc.)Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skillsAbility to operate with limited structure and adapt quicklyPreferred Qualifications:Experience in healthcare environmentsExposure to both IT and operational/business projectsFamiliarity with PMO frameworks or PMBOK concepts (PMP not required)Work Environment & Culture:Primarily remote with occasional onsite meetings or key project milestonesHigh-growth, fast-paced environment with minimal bureaucracyOpportunity to help build and shape PMO processes from the ground upLeadership values initiative, accountability, and continuous improvementWhy This Role:Direct exposure to executive leadershipOpportunity to build structure in a growing organizationDiverse project portfolio across IT and operationsStrong growth potential as the PMO matures
