This role supports enterprise-scale, high-visibility systems operating in classified environments. The ideal candidate can operate independently, take full ownership of platform health and security, and contribute immediately within a high-trust, operational setting. This position requires a security-first mindset, strong technical judgment, and the ability to manage platform operations while maintaining strict compliance standards.Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister, configure, and maintain the Appian platform within a classified environmentEnsure platform availability, stability, and performance across mission applicationsManage and maintain security configurations, logging, auditing, and access controlsSupport and maintain integrations with enterprise services (e.g., identity management, directory services, monitoring tools)Apply and maintain Information Assurance (IA) controls in accordance with mission requirementsMonitor system health and proactively resolve operational issuesSupport patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management of the Appian platformCollaborate with developers, security teams, and enterprise stakeholders to maintain compliant and secure operationsDocument configurations, processes, and operational proceduresRequirementsActive TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph (FSP) – must be active Day 1Strong hands-on experience administering the Appian platformExperience supporting secure or classified environmentsUnderstanding of platform security, logging, and access control best practicesExperience integrating Appian with enterprise services and toolsAbility to work independently and take technical ownership of platform operationsStrong written and verbal communication skillsPreferred QualificationsExposure to Information Assurance (IA) support in INT-B and INT-C environmentsExperience supporting enterprise-scale Appian deploymentsFamiliarity with secure network architectures and compliance frameworksPrior experience supporting Intelligence Community programs
