On-Site Data Center/Dell Server Service EngineerStart Date - ASAP - 6 month assignment with possible extensionThis role is ideal for engineers or senior technicians who thrive in fast-paced, customer-facing environments and want to work hands-on with cutting-edge AI data center technologies.Seeking an experienced On-Site Service Engineer (OSE) to support enterprise data center and server environments, including next-generation AI platforms. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role focused on maintaining uptime, resolving complex hardware issues, and delivering outstanding on-site service. Prior AI experience is not required—strong data center and server fundamentals are what matter most.What You'll DoProvide on-site support for Dell server and data center systems, ensuring rapid issue resolution and minimal downtimePerform hardware maintenance including server builds, swaps, component replacements, and firmware updatesTroubleshoot system issues across hardware, firmware, and operating systems, escalating when appropriateSupport both reactive and preventive maintenance following established proceduresCollaborate with internal teams and customers during service events to ensure clear communication and resolutionDocument work performed and contribute to shared knowledge and best practicesParticipate in on-call rotations and support extended coverage when neededWhat You BringExperience supporting servers or data center hardware in a field, enterprise, or customer-facing environmentHands-on skills with server components (CPU, memory, power supplies, GPUs, etc.)Familiarity with Linux or similar operating systemsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilitiesComfortable working independently on-site and communicating clearly with customersWillingness to learn and support emerging technologies, including AI platformsQualifications3–5+ years of experience in technical support, field service, or data center rolesAssociate or Bachelor's degree in IT or related field (or equivalent experience)Dell or other vendor certifications are a plus, but not requiredAbility to lift up to 50 lbs, travel to customer sites, and support flexible/on-call schedulesTravel:Willingness to travel to customer sites as requiredAdditional InformationAll candidates are encouraged to apply, but many positions require a strict drug and background check by our customers.F2OnSite supports and adheres to all state laws regarding background checks.Company DescriptionF2OnSite is the fastest growing IT field services company in the United States, with hundreds of employee technicians in over 40 states.
