CNC Machine Operator

Job Description Forge Resources Group, a leader in custom forgings, is looking for a CNC Machine Operator at our Freeport, IL location. Forge Resources Group produces steel solutions for a variety of industries through forging, hot forming, and fabrication.Day Shift - 5:00am-3:30pm Monday thru Thursday with occasional overtime on Fridays.  Key Responsibilities:Load parts in CNC for machining / remove finished parts from CNCRun CNC programsEdit programs at CNC machineMachine parts on manual Landis threadersInspect parts visually and with measuring equipment to ensure quality of machining and finished partComplete required paperwork to include tags, inspection documents, and production logs etc..Maintain organized and clean work areaOther duties as assigned Experience and Skills:Ability to use and read measuring equipment including ruler and micrometer to .0001 requiredPrevious experience loading parts and running CNC mills and/or lathes requiredAbility to understand and follow verbal and written instructions requiredReliability, punctuality and attentiveness requiredAttention to detail requiredUnderstanding of tooling, speeds, feeds and toolpaths preferredPrevious manufacturing experience preferredForklift experience preferredManual machining and mechanical skills preferred Education Requirement:High School Diploma required Physical Requirements:Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassistedAble to stand for 8-10 hours a dayFrequent standing, walking, bending twisting Forge Resources Group is a Drug Free Workplace.
