Entry Level Sales Account Representative - International Seafood Distributor (35899)

An international seafood distributor is currently seeking an Entry Level Sales Account Representative to support its operations at the Chicago, IL office. The ideal candidate has experience in the food industry and is interested in transitioning into a sales role! Entry-level candidates are also welcome! This is a full-time, direct-hire position.Entry Level Sales Account Representative Responsibilities:Communicate with restaurants and Asian food companies to ensure their needs are clearly understood and metMaintain and develop strong relationships with existing clientsTravel for business to promote and sell new seafood productsForecast sales and generate leads for new customers and business developmentLearn about products and seasonal trends to stay up to date with the industryCoordinate inventory management with the Customer Service teamProvide customer support as neededConduct domestic business travelPerform other duties as assignedEntry Level Sales Account Representative Requirements:Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferredAbility to speak Japanese, Chinese, or Korean is a big plusInterest in Asian foods, seafood, and cuisineStrong organizational and communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)Able to travel occasionallySales experience is a plus, but not requiredMust have a valid driver’s license and passportThis position is in an office work environment. While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear.
