About the Role We are hiring a Full Stack Software Engineer to work directly with the co-founder on the core product. The immediate focus is building a voice AI that conducts multi-step technical interviews – pulling in a candidate's live work context and layering progressively harder questions based on what they have just done. This has not been built before and is an exciting problem to tackle.Beyond that, you will work on identifying economically valuable engineering skills at scale and improving the predictive models that determine who is likely to succeed in a role.ResponsibilitiesDesign and build the voice AI interview system end-to-endDevelop the architecture for context-aware, adaptive questioningIntegrate AI/LLM APIs into a production-grade, multi-step assessment flowImprove the predictive hiring models – accuracy, data pipelines, and feedback loopsBuild and maintain the full stack (React / Next.js, Node.js) in service of the aboveQualifications0 -​ 2 years of experience as a full-​stack software engineer owning complex 0-​to-​1 projectsWork experienceExperience building projects / features from 0-​to-​1 (inc.​ during internships)Demonstrated track record of owning and driving forward high impact projectsPrior start-​up experience or demonstrated entrepreneurial spiritHard skillsStrong technical fundamentals and familiarity with most modern frameworksExperience with JavaScript,​ AI/LLM integration,​ and system design / architectureMiscellaneousExcited to be in a scrappy environment and play a critical role within a small teamDemonstrated mission alignment and dislikes LeetCode-​style interviewsSalary : $160K - $200K Equity: Highly competitive (0.5-2.0%)On-site or Remote work policy : Either in-person in SF or fully remote acceptableVisa sponsorship not availableLocationSan Francisco, CA, Remote (US)
